The Ministry of Information Communications and Culture (KPKK) is a ministry that combines the previous Ministry of Information, Ministry of Unity, Culture, Arts and Heritage and the Communications component from the Ministry of Energy, Water and Communications.  The merger is a result of the Cabinet reshuffle following the appointment of The Honourable Dato’ Sri Mohd. KPWKM is led by Y.B. Dato' Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil (2001 - Februari 2008) as the Minister, entrusted with the responsibility to promote and raise public perception on the importance of the role of women and family institution in contributing towards the developmental agenda of the nation. JAWATAN KOSONG KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN




Ministry of Defence was established on 31 August 1957 and officially commenced operations in a building located on Brockman Road (now Jalan Dato 'Onn), Kuala Lumpur.This building also houses the offices of First Minister of Defence of the late Tun Haji Abdul Razak bin Datuk Hussein who served from August 31, 1957 to 22 September 1970.
Ministry of Defence's first building was built by the Federal Government at a cost worth RM122, 000.00 and was officiated by Tun Haji Abdul Razak bin Datuk Hussein on March 18, 1960. Buildings constructed in Rifle Range Road is also housed the offices of Chiefs and Senior Officers of the Armed Forces of the three services.
Due to a growing awareness among leaders of the importance that the membership expansion of the armed forces, a complex that consists of 6 blocks of 4 storeys high have been built in front of the Office of Member Services Division to accommodate the growing number of members. Buildings valued at RM 2 million was officiated by Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra on April 6, 1967.
After the withdrawal of British troops, the Government of Malaysia to take drastic measures to improve the security of the country from any threat. This task is entrusted to the Ministry of Defence as well as improve efficiency in the management needs of the armed forces from time to time.
To accommodate all the agencies under one roof, the government has decided to build a new building for the Ministry of Defence. As symbolic, the foundation stone was laid by the Deputy Defence Minister, Dato 'Abang Abu Bakar bin Datu Bandar Abang Haji Mustapha on March 10, 1982. The new building is located on Rifle Range Road, Kuala Lumpur was built with the RM144 million and was completed in mid 1985. 20 storey high building was known as the "Ministry of Defence" which also provides office spaces and meeting rooms. The area around the "Ministry of Defence" complex known as the Ministry of Defence also provides some facilities such as buildings storey car park, auditorium, prayer, Defense Field (Parade Ground), guard stations, towers, computer room, 'helipad', cafeterias and other other.
Ministry of Defence headed by Defence Minister and assisted by a Deputy Minister. Organization of Ministry of Defence consists of two main services that the Public Service, headed by the Chief Secretary and the Armed Forces (ATM) is headed by the Chief of the Armed Forces.

Maklumat Peribadi (Personal Information)

Maklumat peribadi adalah merangkumi nama, alamat, nombor telefon dan e-mail. Anda boleh juga memasukkan profail ringkas yang merangkumi objektif kerjaya anda. Pastikan bahawa maklumat peribadi adalah ringkas. Tak payah nak masukkan info yang tidak relevan seperti warna rambut, status, tempat lahir, jumlah anak, jumlah isteri, opsss…
Tolong simpan huraian lanjut anda untuk bahagian yang lebih penting.

Hobi/ Aktiviti Masa Lapang (Interests/ Hobbies)

Majoriti majikan gemar mengambil calon yang mempunyai keseimbangan dalam kerjaya dan hidup. Menerangkan apa yang ada buat di masa senggang dapat menolong future employer menilai karektor anda. Adakah anda seorang yang suka menyertai kerja – kerja amal? Gemar fotografi? Menyelam? Penulisan kreatif? Sebutkan.


Hobi yang dinyatakan tidak semestinya berkaitan dengan kerjaya anda. Malah anda juga boleh memilih untuk tidak menyertakan maklumat berkaitan hobi.

Pendidikan dan Kelayakan Profesional (Education and Professional Qualifications)

Masukkan maklumat yang paling terkini sahaja. Misalnya, anda baru sahaja tamat pengajian ijazah. Maklumat tersebut adalah mencukupi, ditambah dengan maklumat sekolah menengah. Tak payah letak maklumat sekolah rendah, tadika dan taska. Sekiranya anda berkeras jugak (degil sungguh) nak letak maklumat sekolah rendah sebab anda lompat darjah dua kali (pandainyeeee… anak sape ni..), anda boleh berkongsi maklumat tersebut semasa temuduga, itupun sekiranya diperlukan. Bukan dalam resume.
Maklumat kelayakan profesional adalah kursus – kursus yang pernah anda ikuti atau persijilan (certification) tambahan yang anda perolehi. Misalnya, kursus keusahawanan, Six Sigma, LCCI cerification, kursus andaman dan sebagainya.
 
Ingat!
Hanya letakkan kelayakan profesional yang berkaitan dengan jawatan kosong yang anda pohon sahaja. Jangan beria – ia nak masukkan semua maklumat sampaikan kursus kahwin pun nak dimasukkan.
 
Skil/ Kemahiran (Skills)
Sertakan ringkasan skil: kemahiran mengunakan aplikasi komputer, book keeping, kelajuan menaip, project management, menggubah bunga, penyediaan western food, dan sebagainya.
 
Ingat!
Hanya letakkan skil yang paling relevan dengan kerjaya anda sahaja. Kalau apply untuk kerja network engineer , jangan letak ‘mahir menjahit cross-stitch‘. Kena baling ngan telur busuk.
 
Bahasa (Language)
Letakkan seberapa banyak bahasa utama yang anda tahu, berserta tahap penggunaan. Sekiranya anda tahu bahasa asing seperti bahasa Jepun atau Perancis, pastikan maklumat tersebut turut disertakan.

Kriteria bahasa adalah lebih mudah dibaca dalam bentuk jadual. Pilihan jadual juga mempelbagaikan kandungan resume anda supaya tidak nampak mendatar.
 
Pengalaman Kerja (Working Experience)

Maklumat yang paling penting dalam penulisan resume anda adalah pengalaman kerja. Mengapa?
• perkara pertama yang akan dipertimbangkan oleh majikan.
• membezakan antara yang experienced dan fresh graduate .
• memutuskan sama ada anda mampu memikul tanggungjawab yang lebih berat.
• menentukan basic salary anda (fuiyo! penting tu).
So camane nak start cerita pasal working experience nih?

  • The best would be in reverse chronological order (didahului dengan pengalaman kerja yang paling akhir). Semasa temuduga juga, majikan akan lebih menekankan soalan yang berkaitan dengan pengalaman kerjaya anda yang terkini.
  • Nyatakan tarikh (tahun/ bulan) bila anda bermula dan mengakhiri setiap kerjaya. Pastikan tiada ruang kosong atau jarak yang lama di antaranya. Sekiranya ada, pastikan anda boleh menyatakan sebabnya apabila disoal semasa temuduga kelak.
  • Terangkan dengan jelas tentang tugas dan tanggungjawab anda untuk setiap kerjaya. Tekankan skil yang paling relevan dengan kerjaya yang anda pohon. Anda boleh menggunakan beberapa perkataan yang power untuk memberikan professional feel kepada penulisan resume anda.
  • Hadkan pengalaman kerja anda kepada tiga yang terakhir. Lima paling maksima. Sekiranya anda nyatakan lebih dari itu, majikan mungkin akan mendapat tanggapan bahawa anda suka job hopping (bertukar – tukar kerja).
Fresh graduates : Anda boleh abaikan bahagian ini. Tapi jangan lupa menyatakan tentang kursus atau praktikal yang pernah anda ikuti sekiranya ada.

Pencapaian dalam Kerjaya (Accomplishments)

Fikirkan. Apakah yang akan membezakan penulisan resume anda dengan yang lain? Calon lain pun ada skil yang diperlukan, calon lain pun ada beberapa tahun pengalaman, calon lain pun ada rujukan yang baik. Jadi apa yang anda boleh buat untuk membezakan atau menaikkan taraf resume anda daripada mereka?
Jawapannya adalah: pencapaian anda dalam bidang kerjaya
Inilah kriteria penghulu dalam penulisan sebuah resume. Biasanya diletakkan selepas atau digabungkan dengan kriteria Working Experience. Sekiranya kriteria ini dihuraikan dengan baik (dan segala aspek resume yang lain dipatuhi), saya jamin bahawa kemungkinan anda dipanggil temuduga adalah 110%. Begitulah kuatnya impak Accomplishments. It can work wonders.
Tetapi jarang sekali saya lihat kriteria di atas dititik beratkan oleh calon.
Pencapaian dalam kerjaya bermaksud pencapaian atau sumbangan anda yang ketara semasa bertugas. Ia mungkin dalam bentuk keuntungan, penjimatan, pembaik pulihan, pengiktirafan, anugerah dan sebagainya.

Nampak tak perbezaan antara A dan B? Kedua – duanya menerangkan perkara yang sama tetapi ayat B mempunyai 3 kekuatan:

  1. pengunaan perkataan yang power – developed, comprehensive
  2. penerangan yang lebih fokus – softskill & product knowledge
  3. pencapaian – that lead to 32% increase in service level
Ayat manakah yang anda rasa akan menarik perhatian bakal majikan? Tepuk dada dan tanyalah selera.
 
Rujukan (Referees)

Maklumat berkaitan dengan orang yang boleh menjadi rujukan anda. Jumlah optimum adalah empat orang. Dua dari bidang akademi, dua dari bidang pekerjaan. Maklumat yang perlu ada adalah nama, jawatan, syarikat dan nombor untuk dihubungi. Tempoh perkenalan adalah tidak perlu.
 
Penting!
Mintak izin dulu ye? Jangan memandai nak sumbat maklumat orang lain sesuka hati korang. Pentingnya meminta izin adalah supaya rujukan anda bersedia untuk bekerjasama sekiranya dihubungi oleh bakal majikan anda.

Bukan semua syarikat memerlukan rujukan. Jadi, anda boleh memilih untuk tidak menyertakan rujukan. Sekiranya diperlukan, maklumat rujukan boleh diberikan semasa temuduga atau diisi dalam borang temuduga.

Gaji (Salary)

Gaji sekarang (current salary)
Ada yang suka menipu dengan meletakkan amaun yang lebih tinggi untuk current salary, dengan harapan akan mendapat expected salary yang diinginkan. Ketahuilah bahawa majoriti syarikat akan meminta slip gaji terakhir sebelum menawarkan anda kerja. Kalau terbukti anda menipu, lupakan saja peluang anda untuk menjawat jawatan tersebut. Dengan kata lain, anda kantoi.
Gaji yang dikehendaki (expected salary)
Expected salary mestilah setimpal dengan kelayakan dan pengalaman anda. Setiap kali anda bertukar kerja, secara kasarnya anda boleh menaikkan expected salary dengan penambahan RM500 – RM2000 (pastikan setimpal dengan pengalaman). Atau gunakan prinsip kenaikan 30% – 50% dari gaji lama.
Jangan sekali – kali meletakkan gaji yang spesifik. Nyatakan lingkungan gaji yang dikehendaki sahaja.
Jangan lupa letakkan terma ‘Negotiable’ atau yang seangkatan dengannya. All the little details count! Terma ini menggambarkan bahawa gaji yang anda kehendaki masih boleh dirundingkan semasa proses temuduga nanti.

Isu gaji paling baik dibincangkan semasa temuduga. Nyatakan gaji yang dikehendaki (expected salary) dalam resume hanya jika diminta berbuat demikian. Dikhuatiri, jika anda meletakkan gaji yang terlalu tinggi atau terlalu rendah, risiko untuk anda diketepikan dari panggilan temuduga juga sangat tinggi.
The bottom line is this: if it’s not asked, don’t volunteer. Senang citer.

Responsibilities:
•Ensure accomplishment of First Contact Resolution target by resolving all customer issues within the SLA

Requirements:
•SPM with good results in English and Bahasa Melayu/ Diploma holders are preferable or equivalent qualification (approved by MQA)
•At least three (3) years working experience in handling customer or in a public/ service related positions is an added advantage
•Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications
•Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English
•Must possess good listening skills, good communication and interpersonal skills
•Possess supervisory, analytical and problem solving skills
•Positive attitude, highly initiative and able to work independently with minimum supervision
•High integrity, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
•Willing to work on shift duty

9. Be smart about money questions. Don't fall into the trap of telling the interviewer your financial expectations.

10. Don't hang out your dirty laundry. Be careful not to bare your soul and tell tales that are inappropriate or beyond the scope of the interview.
